Unlock Your Car With Shoelaces

1. Shoelaces
If you know how to use them, shoelaces could be a great device when you're locked out of your vehicle. 3. Wooden Wedge
A simple slip of the fingers or a little bit of carelessness can leave you without your keys in a flash. If you don't want to wait for AAA roadside assistance or a locksmith to arrive at your location, you will need an easy method to unlock your vehicle.
You can use anything that can open the gap between your door and frame. For instance you could use a screwdriver, tennis-balls, or a coat hanger. You may need to squirt air into the gap to make it wide enough to allow your tool to slide in and reach the lock button but be cautious not to cause damage to your vehicle.

A good air wedge has an elasticizer to stop it from collapsing and an exit vent to stop over-inflation. It should also come with a tough, non-marring, vinyl bag that is designed to last for many uses. These wedges work best when paired with a picker or long reach tool for unlocking doors in cars which can be inserted into the wedge to move the lock.
